Hi, my name is Anna Gorman! I was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee until I moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee in 2017. My passion for design began as a child as I covered the refrigerator in family portraits and fantastical illustrations. As I grew up, my notebooks were constantly filled with doodles as my imagination ran wild in the classroom.
Coming to UTK, I was accepted into the competitive Interior Architecture program in the College of Architecture and Design. It was in this program that I picked up skills like incredibly detailed linework and an understanding of color theory. However, I realized that I wanted to influence the world through a broad swath of design, not just in the built environment. In the fall of 2019, I was accepted into the highly selective Graphic Design program, at the time under the College of Art.
Since then, I have flourished into a colorful and energetic designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion to create. I believe my unique educational background has greatly benefitted me and my work. I have worked on a wide variety of projects and freelance work, and I am excited to see what comes next!
